Privacy notice

Privacy notice for MarkVigilance's registration form. Last updated: 1 October 2026.

Who we are

MarkVigilance is a tech-legal AI startup building decision-support tools for Indian trademark clearance and monitoring — helping IP professionals and brand owners get to a faster, better-informed view. It is not a law firm, and nothing it produces is a substitute for legal advice. Contact: ankitdhardube@markvigilance.in.

What we collect

When you register, we collect your name, work email, firm or organisation (optional), your role, and the mark you want monitored (a mark name, and a logo if you send us one). We collect these only from the form you submit, or from anything you send us directly.

Why we collect it

Primarily to actually deliver the monitoring service you're registering for: setting it up, checking it against new Trade Marks Journal issues, telling you when something relevant is published, and contacting you about your free month and what happens after it. We also use it to understand who our early users are, and — separately — to send occasional product updates you can opt out of at any time. You give consent to this when you tick the consent box, which is the basis we rely on under India's data protection law.

Who handles it

Form submissions are processed by our form provider (Web3Forms) and delivered to our email. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone else except service providers needed to run this service.

How long we keep it

We hold your information in our records until you ask us to delete it — there is no automatic expiry.

How to delete your information

Email ankitdhardube@markvigilance.in and tell us the email address (or phone number, if you gave us one) you want removed. We'll delete it from our records and confirm once it's done. You can also ask us to access or correct your details, or to withdraw your consent, the same way — withdrawing consent won't affect anything already done before you withdrew it.

Cookies and analytics

This page sets no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and how often. It's built to work without cookies and without tracking individual visitors across sites — it gives us aggregate numbers (visits and page views), not a profile of who made them.
